A fast-turnaround debug engagement that brought a failing AI content app back to life — no fluff, just root cause and fix.
Spot Drop's AI content generation app on Replit had gone dark after a form update broke the entire pipeline. API calls were failing silently, data wasn't flowing, and users were hitting dead ends. I traced the failure chain from the frontend form fields all the way through to the API payload — identified three distinct breakpoints and resolved them in a single session.

The client needed the content generation functionality restored fast. The app was live, users were affected, and the Replit environment added constraints. Goal was root cause diagnosis first — not guesswork patching — then targeted fixes across the variable initialisation, API payload structure, and new form field synchronisation.
/Results/
Full content generation restored in one session — API communication clean, new form fields live, error handling improved across the board.
Resolved a ReferenceError caused by an uninitialised promptTemplates variable. Corrected the API request payload structure so all required fields were present and correctly formatted. Synced three new form fields — targetAudience, expertiseLevel, and toneOfVoice — into the request flow. Enhanced error logging so future failures surface with actionable context instead of silent drops.
