Most pet shops treat a Chihuahua and a Great Dane the same. This system doesn't — it adjusts everything automatically based on the dog's weight.
The client ran a dog product store where one-size bundles were frustrating customers with different sized dogs. I built a custom Shopify system that reads the dog's weight range at selection and surfaces the right bundles, portions, and pricing automatically — no manual filtering, no confusion, no wrong orders going out.

Build a Shopify experience where the right products, bundles, and subscription options show up based on the dog's size — without the customer having to think.
The goal was simple on the surface — match dog size to product. The execution was not. Weight tiers had to drive bundle logic, pricing, subscription options, free gift triggers, and checkout display simultaneously. Everything had to run on native Shopify without third-party apps dragging the site speed down or adding licensing costs.
/Results/
Weight-based bundles live, subscriptions running, free gift logic working, and customers managing everything from their own dashboard without emailing support.
Customers pick their dog's weight range and the shop handles the rest — correct bundle, right portions, adjusted pricing. Subscriptions tie directly into the weight tier so recurring orders always send the right size. Free gifts trigger automatically on qualifying tiers and order values. Customers can pause, skip, change frequency, and update payment details without touching the support team.
